Bruce works with adolescents, adults, families, older adults and their caregivers providing a full spectrum of psychotherapy services.
He has experience working with developmentally disabled individuals, as well as those with chronic mental illness with a special emphasis working with older adults and issues related to aging.
Bruce Person has extensive knowledge in the areas of power-of attorney, legal guardianship, mental health law, home health care, long-term care placement and hospice. He is an invaluable resource for families dealing with these issues.
He has expert assessment and diagnosis skills with fifteen years working in hospital based pshchiatric care settings. He is also particularly adept at providing crisis intervention and critical needs counseling.

Bruce has a B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology from Milton College, Milton Wisconsin, and a Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Mental Health from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana Illinois.
He has also focused on the special needs of the elderly population, earning a post-graduate level Certificate in Gerontological Studies from Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Illinois.
