In less than a minute we’ll issue you a user name and password that will connect you to the convenience of:

  • Access your account information to update changes to your contact, preferred pharmacy, employer, and insurance provider information
  • Complete medical history information and other questionnaires online prior to your appointment

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO USE THE PATIENT PORTAL?

Ask your provider at your next appointment, stop by the front desk, or just give us a call at 815-986-1113 and ask to begin access to the Patient Portal. After your identity has been confirmed you will be asked for your permanent email address and issued a user name and password. Access to the Patient Portal is available from the home page at www.mariannegeigermd.com.

IS MY CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY MAINTAINED ON THE PATIENT PORTAL?

Yes, your privacy is a priority for us. The Patient Portal connects to a secure web site and utilizes encryption for all communications. Limited information is available through the Patient Portal and your medical record is accessible to you alone. In addition, the system will automatically lock your account if there are three failed attempts to log in. You may also ask us to deactivate your access at any time.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR THE SERVICE?

No. The Patient Portal is provided as a free convenience for our patients.

HOW DO I NOTIFY THE CLINIC OF PSYCHIATRIC CARE IF ANY OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION CHANGES?

The Patient Portal offers you the convenience of viewing the demographic information we have on record for you and making changes to that information. Contact information such as your address, phone numbers, and email may be changed when needed as well as personal information such as name of employer or insurance provider. You can also change the name of the pharmacy to which you prefer us to send any prescription orders.

CAN I REQUEST PRESCRIPTION REFILLS THROUGH THE PATIENT PORTAL?

Yes, all prescription refill requests are accepted through the Patient Portal. You can access that here.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE TO USE THE PATIENT PORTAL?

Our Patient Portal is available through any computer with Internet access. You will not need special software, just log on to www.mariannegeigermd.com and click the Patient Portal button. The Portal is compatible with PC and MacIntosh, and most browsers. It is not compatable with smart phones.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD?

You will need to contact our office at 815-986-1113 and request a new password be issued.
