Kayla Carey is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief psycho-therapeutic interventions to improve the lives of her patients.

Kayla received her BS in Nursing degree from Rockford University. Her advanced practice registered nurse degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner was obtained from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. Her board certification was awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Kayla has extensive experience in mental health nursing with an integrated care model as a nurse case manager.

Kayla is committed to the goal of partnering with other healthcare providers and psychotherapists to encompass a collaborative and holistic model of care.

Kayla’s approach is empowering, energetic, modern, and practical. She is known as a provider that would go the extra mile to provide the highest quality care.
